Digital Products โ All Sales Final
All purchases from Taciturn Studios LLC are for digital products (ebooks and related digital content) that are delivered electronically and immediately upon payment. Because digital files cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, all sales are generally final.
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you experience a technical issue with your purchase, we will work with you to resolve it promptly.
When a Refund Is Eligible
We will issue a full refund or a replacement file in the following circumstances:
- Defective file: The downloaded file is corrupted, unreadable, or does not open in standard ebook readers (Kindle, Adobe Digital Editions, Apple Books, etc.).
- Failed delivery: The download link did not work and we are unable to deliver the file through an alternative method within a reasonable timeframe.
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same product due to a payment processing error.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date.
When a Refund Is Not Eligible
Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:
- You changed your mind after purchasing.
- You purchased the wrong product (please review the product description carefully before buying).
- You have already downloaded and accessed the file.
- More than 7 days have passed since the purchase date.
- The issue is with your reading device or software, not with the file itself.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please use our contact form and include:
- The email address used for your purchase.
- Your order or transaction reference number (found in your purchase confirmation email).
- A brief description of the issue you experienced.
We will respond to your request within 1โ2 business days. If your refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method within 48โ72 hours, depending on your bank's processing time. Please note that your bank may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through our support process. If you initiate a chargeback for a successfully delivered digital product without first contacting us, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of delivery to your payment processor. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may have their access suspended.
